Medium sized, graceful and brightly coloured with a striking pattern and a long fold of skin on back. Upperpart are a bright cinnamon brown with a dark reddish brown horizontal band along flanks and pure white underparts. Head is white with a narrow dark brown stripe across eyes and from cheek and muzzle with a narrow dark line on back and upper rump. Horns rise from above eyes and slope backwards and out then curved inwards to sharp tips.
